Playgroup is based on the premise that change is more likely to occur when we are more creative in our learning process. Playgroup will consist of a small group of practitioners sharing and using optimistic resources, and using play therapy techniques, such as sand play and symbols. Opportunity exists for sharing ideas and creatively thinking through new theories of change.

The Practitioner Playgroup is held in The Change Room – an Alpha Counselling initiative designed to help people think outside the square.

The Change Room is the place to think differently, a think tank, and has a playful atmosphere to help create solutions to difficult problems. It is a creative space with beanbags, colourful lounges, and lots of resources to engage with. One entire wall is painted with a picture that stimulates future planning and goal setting. This is your place to think differently.
